Beautiful Homes
Creating homes that reflect the people who live in them
Your home should be more than beautiful. It should reflect your personality, support the way you live, and tell the story of the people who call it home. Together, we’ll create spaces that are practical, timeless and unmistakably yours.
Home is More than Decoration
Your home is more than bricks, walls and beautiful furnishings.
It is where life unfolds.
Where children grow up.
Where families gather around the dining table.
Where birthdays are celebrated.
Where quiet moments are treasured.
Where healing begins after difficult seasons.
That’s why creating a beautiful home has never been about choosing the most expensive fabric or the latest trends.
It’s about creating a space that feels unmistakably like you.
How I Work
I Begin By Listening
Every project starts with understanding you, your space and the way you live. The best design solutions begin with the best conversations.
I Respect Your Budget
Beautiful homes aren’t created by spending more. They’re created by spending wisely, investing where it matters most and finding value in every decision.
I Work With What You Have
Before suggesting something new, I look at what can be refreshed, repurposed or reimagined. Sometimes the pieces you already own become the most meaningful part of your home.
Practical Before Perfect
Beautiful design should also be practical. I won’t recommend something simply because it looks good. It needs to truly work for the way you live
Relationships Matter
The best results come from trust, honesty and working together. Many of my clients become long term friends, creating one room at a time over the years
One Room At A Time
Thoughtful changes, made at the right pace, often evolve into homes that are both beautiful and deeply personal.
Meet Jean & Brig
For nearly three decades we’ve helped families create homes that reflect who they are.
Jean brings technical precision born from his military background.
Brigitte brings the creative eye, years of hands-on experience and a belief that beautiful homes are built through listening, trust and lasting relationships.
Together we’ve learnt that great design isn’t about trends.
It’s about creating homes that support the lives lived inside them.
Some of Our Projects
First Impressions Matter
Every afternoon the children dumped their school bags and sports kit in this entrance hall because it simply wasn’t inviting enough to become part of family life.
Creating a Sanctuary
Soft greys, natural textures and a custom upholstered headboard and bedbase, transformed this room into a peaceful retreat – without exceeding the client’s budget,
From Chaos to Calm
This child’s bedroom reflected the chaos often surrounding a 10 year old boy’s daily life. Toys scattered across the floor, clothes thrown down and left wherever they landed. Cluttered surfaces where everything competed for attention.
Broken bamboo blinds letting harsh light spill through the windows. The chipped bed and grubby worn carpet; a somewhat overwhelming environment not conducive to a child’s development. With so many visual distractions, the brain stays slightly over stimulated, constantly reacting to the disorder in what should be a calm relaxed space.
We were given carte blanche to transform this space. We used what was already there but refurbished the wood and repurposed the drawers under the bed, so that toys had their place after play.
By creating zones within the room, like storage for clothes in the chest of drawers under the window. A desk and shelves create a dedicated area for learning and creativity. Roman blinds soften the light, while the world map invites curiosity and imagination.
With everything in its place, the environment is peaceful – the kind of space helping a child feel more settled, encouraging focused minds, creativity and curiosity.
Wooden Venetians Adding Elegance
Minimalistic decor for a small room, maintaining elegance, whilst creating a feature with the tape
Repurposing Rather Than Replacing
These curtains didn’t need replacing. They needed reimagining. By retaining the existing fabric, adding a new heading tape, fitting a new wave rail into the bulkhead, we transformed a dated window treatment into a modern, elegant feature.
The client achieved a completely new look , without the cost of new curtains. When budgets matter, we work with the client
Curtain Tape Collage
From classic pleats to contemporary headings, every window treatment is designed to suit the room, the light and the people who live there.
For Those Looking for Something Special
From beautiful details to unexpected spaces, sometimes it’s the finishing touches that transform a room.
- Sculpted Roman Blind with cord and tassle.
- Decorative scatter cushions with trim.
- Elegant guest bathroom curtains.
Wave curtains are elegant from front to back, with beautifully even pleats that stay in place at all times .
Whether you’re building from new, renovating an entire home, refreshing a single room, or simply looking for ideas that work within your budget, I’d love to help you discover what’s possible.
