Projects
Before the transformation, the room reflected the kind of chaos that often surrounds a 10 year old boy’s daily life. Toys were scattered across the floor, clothes were left wherever they landed, and the broken bamboo blinds let harsh light spill through the windows. The worn chipped bed, and cluttered surfaces created a space where everything competed for attention. For a child’s developing mind, this kind of environment can feel overwhelming. With so many visual distractions, it becomes harder to focus, relax, or settle into activities like reading, homework, or creative play. The brain stays slightly overstimulated, constantly reacting to the disorder around it.
After the transformation, the room becomes a calm and purposeful space. The wooden bed was refurbished, additional built-in drawers providing storage for toys. The chest of drawers under the windows organizes clothing, and the desk and shelves create a dedicated area for learning and creativity. Roman blinds soften the light while the world map wallpaper invites curiosity and imagination. With everything in its place, the environment feels peaceful and structured. This kind of space helps a child feel more settled, encourages better habits, and gives their mind room to focus, explore ideas, and be creative.
